Qbara (“we,” “our,” “us”) is a scheduling assistant that helps you create and manage calendar events via chat (e.g., WhatsApp). This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your choices.

Google Calendar data (event titles, times, attendees, notes, and related metadata)

Contact info: Your phone number (e.g., from WhatsApp) and any emails you provide.

Conversation content you send to Qbara: Messages, screenshots, images, and instructions you share for creating or updating events.

Technical data: Timestamps, diagnostic logs, and limited analytics to operate and improve the service.
How we use your information

To create, update, and manage Google Calendar events on your behalf.

To prevent duplicates, handle updates, and support advanced features (e.g., sub-calendars, reminders, and attendee management).

To provide customer support and improve reliability and safety.

We do not sell your data.
Data sharing
We use service providers (e.g., Google Cloud/Firebase, Zapier, Open AI) as processors to run Qbara. They process data only to provide the service to you. We don’t share your data with advertisers.
Data retention & security

We store only what we need to perform scheduling and maintain reliability.

Access tokens and refresh tokens are held securely (e.g., Secret Manager / Firestore) and used exclusively to perform calendar actions you authorize.

You can request deletion at any time (see “Your choices”).
Your choices

Disconnect Google access at any time in your Google Account → Security → Third-party access.

Delete your data: email support@qbara.ai or message Qbara “DELETE MY DATA” from your WhatsApp number on file. We’ll confirm deletion and revoke access.

Children
Qbara is not directed to children under 13. Parents may use Qbara to manage family calendars.
Changes
We may update this policy; we’ll post changes here and update the “Effective date.”
